Netflix’s “Swing” season is now available, and gave golf fans everywhere an internal look of one of the wildest stories that sport has seen.
While heading to his second round of the PGA championship in May, the world number 1 and the current champion of the teachers Scottie Scheffler were arrested and faced four positions, including the assault of a police officer.
It was derived from a fatal accident on the outskirts of Valhalla Golf Club while Scheffler tried to reach the course with a great security presence due to the accident.
Later, Scheffler called him a “great misunderstanding.”

Netflix acquired additional images of Scheffler’s arrest, including Bodycam images.
“I’m very sorry. I’m just trying to get to my time. I will keep my arms there, I promise,” Scheffler said while I was handcuffed.
Other images show Scheffler asking someone to “please help him,” and asked another officer if they “could speak for a second.”
“Are we aware that I am playing in the golf tournament?” Scheffler added. Apparently, an officer does not.
“I guess you are quite good if you are playing in the PGA,” said an officer.
Scheffler humbly replied: “Yes, I’m fine.”
“I will be honest. I didn’t think this was a position I would ever be,” Scheffler told an officer on his way back to Valhalla.
“Usually, people never do it,” the officer replied.
Scheffler even broke a joke that he just wanted to rinse mouth, since “I try not to drink too much before going to play golf at 8 am”

“I didn’t know that you were number 1 in the world at this time. You are too informal to be the number 1 player in the world,” said an officer while escorting Scheffler to the course.
“I think that’s why they are so surprised that they arrested me,” the golfer replied.
Scheffler was later reserved and launched and arrived at the course with plenty of time.
“I was driving myself crazy because I somehow went from leading to the golf course to a jail cell, and I still don’t really know how it happened exactly. I don’t think he really felt real,” Scheffler told producers for the documentary.

Less than two weeks later, all charges against Scheffler were retired. And he casually fired a 66 only a few hours after his arrest. Spaded a little in his last two rounds, but he still managed to tie the eighth in 13 -under over the weekend.
Xander Schauffele won his first of the two specialties in his career, the second was the championship opened later in July.
