The heir prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in Islamabad for his first official visit to Pakistan at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari and First Lady Aseefa Bhutto-Zardari welcomed the heir prince at the airport in the middle of a rainy climate on Thursday.

This visit underlines fraternal ties entrenched between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (EAU) and reflects the shared commitment to further strengthen the bilateral economic association, “the spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in a statement said on Wednesday.

During the visit, the heir prince will participate in high -range interactions with the leadership of Pakistan, to exchange opinions on matters of mutual interest, strengthen historical bonds and promote economic and investment cooperation.

Several agreements and comprehension memorandes will be signed during the visit to reinforce the existing robust framework for long -term collaboration in multifaceted sectors.

On Wednesday, Pakistan and Uzbekistan signed multiple agreements on Wednesday aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation in defense, technology, technical training and youth empowerment.

The agreements were signed during the two -day visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to Uzbekistan, by invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. Both countries also agreed to work to expand bilateral trade to $ 2 billion.

After his bilateral meeting and talks at the delegation level, Prime Minister Shehbaz and President Mirziyoyev witnesses of the signing of several documents. These included agreements and mous in several sectors.
