President Asif Ali Zardari administered the oath to federal ministers freshly appointed during a swearing in the presidency, further expanding the cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
The ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Shehbaz and other senior officials. With the addition of 13 federal ministers and 11 ministers of state, the total size of the cabinet is now 31 members.
The newly jury federal ministers include Hanif Abbasi, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Moin Wattoo, Mustafa Kamal, Sardar Yusuf, Ali Pervaiz, Shaza Fatima, Junaid Anwar, Khalid Magsi, Pir Imran Shah, Aurengzeb Khichi, Rana Mubeir, and Razaat.
The state ministers made by the oath include lawyer Aqil Malik, Malik Rashid, Armaghan Subhani, Talal Chaudhry, Kheal Das, Rehman Kanju, Bilal Kayani, Mukhtar Bhurt, Shizra Mansab, Anwar Chaudhry and Wajiha Qamar. The advisors of Prime Minister Tauqeer Shah and Muhammad Ali also made their oath.
