- The iPhone 17 Pro and the iPhone 17 Pro Max have been inclined to obtain 12 GB of RAM.
- That is more than the current 8GB models.
- This could be a great power impulse to execute AI tools on the device.
The rumored iPhone 17 Pro could obtain an impulse from RAM, and the next phone is inclined to show off 12 GB of random access memory by GFHK Tech research analyst Jeff Pu.
In an investor note, seen by 9to5Mac, PU corroborated the rumors marked last year by the analyst and pseudo-oppipple ming-chi kuo that the next-generation pro iPhone models will obtain a decent update of the 8GB of RAM the current use of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max.
“Meanwhile, it is expected that the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will migrate to LPDDR5 12GB, this transition on its own will contribute to an increase of 3.5% year -on -year in the Smart Telephone DRAM content in approximately 100 million new iPhone units,” said PU.
Now, in my time with the iPhone 16 Pro Max, with its current set of 8 GB of RAM and the rapid bionic chip A18, just encounter that it is slow; Applications are loaded quickly and all the experience of iOS feels very slippery and soft.
However, more RAM is a form of Pro -proof phones of next generation futures, since the characteristics of artificial intelligence, Apple’s intelligence here tend to require a healthy RAM group, especially if they execute AI tasks on the device instead of taking advantage of the cloud.
9to5Mac observed that such impulse in RAM for the purposes of AI was also part of the update of the Apple Mac alignment. Today’s new Mac computers come with at least 16 GB of RAM. So, this note of PU and Kuo’s original claim makes sense.
While increasing the RAM of the future iPhone promises to ensure that they have a longevity degree in the middle of the annual launches of the flagship phones, my hope is that Apple uses this additional power to also introduce some characteristics of the impressive and intelligent to the next projects. At this time, Apple Intelligence has some solid characteristics, but none feels in innovative tools and mandatory use.
Simply spit, I would love to see Apple Intelligence to use iPhone cameras and Apple Watch data to propose custom training to break my intestine and put it in shape. On the other hand, Apple Intelligence has been caught in being able to rework the tone of emails and messages, or crushing two emojis together to create a new abomination … sigh.
In addition, as we round the best AI phones, I think Apple needs to bring something special to the iPhone 17 before to beat Google and its pixel phones in the front of AI.
