The establishment division has issued a notification that describes the working hours reviewed for federal government offices during the Sacred Month of Ramadan, said Express News.
According to the notification, the government offices operating in a work week of five days will work from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm for offices after a six -day work week, work hours will be from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
In addition, on Fridays, all government offices will operate from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm to accommodate Friday prayer rest.
In addition, Pakistan Railways has also adjusted work hours for reservations during Ramadan, ensuring softer operations for passengers.
According to the announcement of the Railway Administration, the reserves offices that work in two shifts will follow new schedules:
Morning shift: 7:30 am to 12:30 pm
Afternoon shift: 12:30 pm at 5:30 pm
On Fridays, there will be a break from 12:30 pm at 2:00 pm for Jumu’ah prayers.
However, the reserve offices that operate in a single shift will maintain their existing schedule without any change. These revised times will remain in force until Ramadan 15, after which all reservations will return to their standard operation hours.
