LAHORE:
The chief organizer of PTI Punjab, Aliya Hamza Malik, announced Friday that the party has prepared a “black and white list” of legislators based on their position and participation together with the public on February 8.
She said that those who stopped with people, as well as those who remained absent, would soon be reported to the founder of PTI Imran Khan.
“I assure our workers that no sacrifice will go in vain. The list of MNA and MPA, those who stopped with their people on February 8 and those who did not have been completed. Very soon, this list will be in the hands of Khan Sahib,” said Aliya.
She said that PTI Punjab resolved against “fascist forces” and praised the party workers, saying that they had even surpassed their leadership in resilience.
“Punjab is fully prepared to resist tyranny. Our workers are leading from the front, they are ahead of their leaders. In fact, I learn from them; they guide me,” he added.
Earlier this month, PTI commemorated the first anniversary of the general elections of February 8 with a public meeting in Swabi, demanding the release of Imran Khan and the restoration of its ‘stolen mandate’.
Meanwhile, ahead of PTI’s planned protest against the alleged rig in the 2024 elections, the Punjab Department of Interior enforced section 144 throughout the province, prohibiting political meetings, demonstrations, sitting and other related activities.
