Poly is a paralyzing disease without a cure, and the completion of routine vaccination for all children under five provides them with a high immunity against this terrible disease.
The first National Polyomyelitis campaign of 2025 reached more than 45 million children earlier this month, said a statement from the Pakistan Polyomyelitis program.
He added that a FIPV-OPV campaign in the Quetta and Karachi division was held between February 20 and 28, vaccinating around 0.9 million children with injectable and oral polyomyelitis vaccines for an additional imunity of immunity.
In addition, this week a specific vaccination activity was also held in 104 union councils that limit Afghanistan or that had field refugee camps to reduce the risk of cross -border transmission and internal poliovirus, vaccinating more than 0.6 million children.
The Polyomyelitis program urged all parents to vaccinate their children every time to keep them protected from this devastating disease.
