Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered an effective and comprehensive repression to stop inflation throughout the province.
The main minister ordered all the commissioners and commissioners attached to launch an effective campaign against the price increase and indicated that they prominently show the official price lists.
Maryam Nawaz also ordered strict monitoring of supply and demand for essential foods and instructed action to avoid hoarding.
She instructed the main secretary of Punjab to personally supervise the campaign against the relegated and pricing, to submit complete daily reports about prices and guarantee the quality and food rates.
The Punjab CM ordered the attached commissioners and commissioners attending closely to monitor bread and flour prices. He also ordered the food authority to launch a repression to guarantee food quality.
Maryam Nawaz declared that strict monitoring of prices and the supply of fruits and vegetables during Ramadan would be carried out. She ordered that strict legal action be taken against those that increase the prices of fruits and vegetables.
She emphasized that Ramadan is a month of blessings and mercy, and urged the business community to be considered with the poor.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif mentioned that she is personally reviewing the daily prices of food through the board and promised that during Ramadan, there would be no indulgence in action against the increase in prices and hoarding.
