Jimmy Johnson, a NFL training legend and a main figure in “Fox NFL Sunday”, announced Monday that it will retire from the transmission.
Johnson joined Fox Sports in 1994. He joined the network after his time training the Miami Dolphins came to an end. It would appear regularly with Terry Bradshaw and Howie Long and later Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski to offer previous, part -weather analysis and after the NFL games game.

The two -year -old Super Bowl champion revealed in “The Herd with Colin Cowherd” that the 2024 season would be the last.
“I have made an extremely difficult decision, I have been thinking about it during the last four or five years, and I have decided to retire from Fox,” he said. “I’m going to miss it. I’m going to miss all the boys. It has been a great career starting 31 years ago.”
The Fox Sports CEO, Eric Shanks, described the retirement news of Johnson “Agridulce”.
“Jimmy Johnson was there when ‘Fox Nfl Sunday’ came to the air for the first time 31 years ago, and since then he has been an appreciated member of our Fox Sports family, which makes today’s retirement news today bittersweet,” Shanks said in a statement.

Bradshaw and Long are the only other teammates who have been in the program since its inception in 1994. Pam Oliver joined the Fox NFL coverage in 1995.
