If you are looking for one of the best iPads, you may want to contain the purchase of one for now. This is because the newly updated models are supposedly just around the corner, and they could bring a powerful chips update that will make it worth the wait.
Specifically, Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman says in his last power in the newsletter that the iPad Air stock and tenth generation iPad are running out in Apple stores. This is usually a sign that the new models will arrive soon, since Apple often stops refreshing supplies of their devices that were soon replaced in preparation for newcomers.
However, while a new Macbook Air with M4 Chip could be launched as soon as this week, Gurman says that the new iPads “will probably not come in the next few days.” The deadline has not been reduced more than that, but suggests that the tablets could be launched in a few weeks in place.
Minor updates
It is expected that both the iPad Air and the entry level iPad receive minor updates this year, with new chips among the only anticipated changes. The iPad air could obtain the M3 or M4 chip, while the 11th generation iPad is probable to be equipped with the A16 Bionic or the A17 Pro chip.
However, you do not bet on broad changes to the designs or screens of these devices. The rumor factory has been very quiet on this front, suggesting that most of the changes will reach the internal parts of the tablets. There are other new features, with Wi-Fi 7 and a new magical keyboard potentially in the cards.
Although these models are imminent, you can’t say the same as iPad Pro and iPad Mini. The iPad Pro will probably not get an update until Apple’s M5 chip lashes at the end of this year, while the iPad Mini was only updated a few months ago.
If you are looking to buy one of those devices, you should be sure to move on. But if the iPad Air or the entrance level iPad are on its shopping list, it would be better to wait a time until the new models come out.
