Trump as the reason why the teams omit the visit of the White House is ‘stupid’, says the NBA legend

The rumors of the Philadelphia Eagles potentially omitting a visit from the White House to celebrate their Super Bowl Lix victory took social networks by assault at the end of February.

The talk swirled even when the Eagles had not yet received an official invitation. President Donald Trump finally invited the team to Washington, DC, but their talk did not turn on a shot of the Charles Barkley Basketball Hall.

“The round bouncing mound,” he said in “The Steam Room” that the possibility that the teams jump the visit of the White House due to Trump was “stupid.”

“I don’t care who the president is,” said Barkley, through a horrible announcement. “He is the president of the United States. He has bothered me the last 10 years, they say: ‘Well, I don’t go because this certain person is president.’ Friend, he is the president of the United States.

“Although I do not agree with President Trump in some things, if he knew him, he would still give him the respect and dignity he deserves. We can disagree, but it bothers me when these teams do not want to go to the White House. I’m just disappointed … we divide so much. Where do we get to a country when we are like ‘we are not going to the White House, we do not disappoint? That is simply stupid.”

The tensions between the president and the athletes seemed over low heat since his second term began.

The Eagles jumped the visit of the White House during their presidency about tensions about kneeling players during the national anthem.
