The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 could be receiving an update welcome to a little crucial hardware about the Galaxy Z Flip 6 of current generation, if a new rumor is believed.
According to the Dutch site Galaxyclub, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be sent with a 4,300 mAh battery, above the 4,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy Z Flip 6.
If this rumor is confirmed, that would mark the second impulse of 300 mAh in so many years for Samsung’s most accessible folding, since the Galaxy Z Flip 5 was launched with a 3,700 mAh battery in 2023.
The battery improvements of any kind are especially welcome to folding phones, which can have difficulty providing the same longevity as its counterparts of the caramel bar due to the inherent inefficiency of dividing a battery cell by the two (or more as we begin to see tricolteum devices).
In fact, our Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 review found that the phone’s battery was a rare inconvenience of an impressive phone.
Galaxyclub points out that, due to the way in which battery capabilities are announced, the nominal capacity of the phone will probably be lower, around 4,174 mAh. That remains an improvement in the Galaxy Z Flip 6, which the report states that it had a nominal capacity of 3,887 mAh.
As we report before, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is expected to greatly follow the form and function of last year’s form, with recent renders that suggest that the two will be almost identical in appearance.
This visual similarity also tells us a little about the telephone hardware: we still expect two cameras, a contoured cover screen and an internal screen with a high -looking ratio, although the screens are inclined to an increase in size very slightly.
Even so, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 already has a place in our lists of the best folding phones and the best Samsung phones, so an impulse to the battery would probably also would also be enough to secure those points for its follow -up.
