Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to maintain a close association with the United States for the promotion of regional peace and stability.
In a statement published on the social media platform X (previously Twitter), Prime Minister Sharif expressed his gratitude to US President Donald Trump for recognizing Pakistan’s fundamental role in the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan.
The prime minister said that Pakistan has always played a key role in anti -terrorist efforts, working to deprive terrorists and extremist groups of safe shelters and prevent their operations against any country.
