- The Eurocom Raptor X17 laptop is built for AI, cybersecurity and high -end simulations.
- A 17.3 -inch monster with advanced cooling features
- And with 128 GB of RAM, even heavy work loads work without problems
Eurocom, known for its powerful but faces laptops, such as Sky X4C, has launched Raptor X17, a mobile workstation that admits up to 24 TB of NVME SSD storage in three M.2 slots, including two PCIE 4.0 x4 and a PCIE 5.0 unit.
On the Raptor X17 configuration page, Eurocom says that its new laptop is designed for professionals who handle intensive workloads, such as training in AI tools, cyber security and large -scale simulations.
In its heart is the Core I9-14900HX of Intel, a 24-core processor and 32 subprocesses created for exceptional computational power, since the intel HM770 PCIE 4.0 architecture allows high-speed data processing.
The Raptor X17 presents the NVIDIA RTX 4090 mobile GPU with 9,728 CUDA and 304 cores of AI tensor. While the absence of an RTX 5090M can be disappointing, RTX 4090M remains one of the most powerful mobile graphics cards available.
Users can configure storage with RAID 0, 1 or 5, optimizing for speed, redundancy or a balance of both. The laptop also admits up to 128 GB of RAM DDR5, with speeds of up to 5600MHz, which guarantees performance without problems for intensive memory applications.
EUROCOM offers two display options: a QHD panel of 17.3 inches (2560 x 1440) with an update rate of 240Hz or an UHD option (3840 x 2160) with an 144Hz update rate.
The chassis is made of an aluminum-magnesium alloy, but this does not reduce its weight, since it reaches 3.29 kg and 24.9 mm thick. While on the heaviest side, it serves those who prioritize robustness and power.
For connectivity, this commercial laptop includes two Thunderbolt 4, USB-C 3.2, three USB-A ports, HDMI 2.0 and dual mini displayport 1.4. It also has a 2.5GBE Ethernet port incorporated with an additional LAN connection through Thunderbolt 4.
To maintain maximum performance under heavy work loads, EUROCOM has integrated an advanced cooling system to avoid thermal strangulation. The laptop is sent with a 780W CA adapter.
With an initial price of $ 12,000, the Eurocom Raptor X17 makes the MAX MAX MacBook, the most expensive portable computer of Apple, reasonably seem at a comparison price. However, this mobile work station is a premium option for users who need extreme performance and configuability.
