Brittany Cartwright has had enough of Jax Taylor since his actions have hurt his son.
Cartwright issued a statement on his Instagram account after Taylor confessed that he has been dealing with substance problems.
In her stories, the mother of Un revealed that her ex -husband’s addictions have “irreparable damage” to his son Cruz Cauchi.
“Unfortunately, his addiction has caused irreparable damage to my son and me. I have spent years trying to help him,” Cartwright wrote. “I wish more than anyone, I could say how proud I am of him today, but I would be lying. His actions will speak for themselves.”
Cartwright answered the questions about why she chose to keep him despite her problem.
“You can’t help who you fell in love. I have done absolutely everything that is in my power to get the help you need desperately,” Cartwright said. “Unfortunately, I was naive and believed that his empty promises and his pleading to change for years.”
“Once you have a son with someone, it is not easy to leave,” he said, adding: “Everything was needed in my power to gather strength to get away. For those who have gone through similar, they understand it. For those who question me … that’s fine. I am in a much better place now.”
