Baun spent his first four seasons of the NFL with the New Orleans Saints before signing a one -year contract with Philadelphia in 2024. During the NFL exploration combination last week in Indianapolis, the executive vice president/general manager of the Eagles, Howie Roseman, hinted that he signed Baun again was a priority.
“Obviously, a phenomenal season: the first All-Pro team, the five best defensive players of the year,” Roseman said. “The tremendous person, a tremendous character. It made a big difference during the regular season, marked a big difference during the playoffs, made a big difference in the Super Bowl. And, therefore, those are guys that you obviously want to maintain. There is no doubt about it. We will make a concerted effort to try to keep it here. But … obviously has an opportunity to hit free agency.”

Shortly after the defense of Philadelphia, the Kansas City bosses in the February Super Bowl, Baun expressed their hope of staying with an Eagles uniform.
“My goal is every time to play the best football I can,” said the day of cleaning of the lockers. “Hopefully, he is here. I love this place, and I really appreciate what they have done for my career and my family and only everything. I have many options to weigh and things to think about.”
The Eagles also rewarded Saquon Barkley earlier this week. The star corridor agreed a two -year historical extension worth $ 41.2 million, Espn reported.
The contract makes Barkley the best paid player in his position in the history of the League. It is also the first NFL corridor with an annual salary of $ 20 million.
