The Manager of the Philadelphia Philis, Rob Thomson, had an interview in the game during a spring training game on Wednesday, but did not receive many words.
That is because he saw his pitcher, Jesús Luzardo, deliver consecutive homers in three consecutive releases.
The Philis were visiting Detroit’s Tigers in Florida when Thomson had the headphones on at the bottom of the second entrance of a game without goals.

During the interview, Jahmai Jones deeply left Luzardo, which resulted in a typical homemade homemade team.
“It seemed a change of change,” Thomson intervened awkwardly.
The next batter, Andy Ibáñez, continued with his own home run in almost the same place.
Thinking that they had some time, Karl Ravech thanked Thomson for “keeping” the transmission team through consecutive jacks. Then, Gleyber Torres reached the plate.
Torres was also deep on the left field wall, and Thomson literally was speechless.
It was a second entry of six races for Detroit, which repeated that total in the third entry. The game ended in a 17-7 victory for Detroit.

It was not exactly what Luzardo wanted after publishing an effectiveness of 5.00 in just 12 openings in a 2024 season full of injuries. He was promising with the Miami Marlins, publishing an effectiveness of 3.48 in 2022 and 2023. Initially it was an Oakland athletics prospect.
But after his worrying 2024 campaign, the Marlins changed him to his rivals of the National League in December.
Luzardo considers to be the number 5 holder of the team in an stacked rotation led by Co-Aacros Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler, the last of which ended second in the NL Cy Young award voting last season with a better effectiveness of 2.57.

Thomson replaced Joe Girardi as the Filis manager in 2022, who proved to be a turning point in his season. They ended up winning the flag.
