A woman’s attempt to address a moving train at Lahore train almost ended in disaster, but thanks to the rapid actions of a railway police officer, her life was saved.
According to a spokesman for the Railway Police, the incident occurred when a family tried to address the Karakoram Express, said Express News.
When the woman tried to climb on board, she lost her balance and was about to fall under the train.
The CCTV images of the scene show agent Rafaqat Ali, who was on the platform, running to the help of women. He grabbed it right in time, preventing it from falling under the moving train.
The rapid response and presence of the mind of the railway police officer saved the woman from what could have been a fatal accident. The family, who was traveling from Lahore to Karachi, expressed his gratitude to agent Rafaqat Ali for his heroic efforts.
