- A United Kingdom retailer has many RDNA GPU stock ready for launch, probably reflecting the broader global image for availability
- Which includes more than more than 4,000 models, half of which are sapphire graphics cards
- While the MSRP are very well launched in the United Kingdom, which is encouraging, this will not come, it is only for a few hundred initial models (subsidized by AMD)
AMD RX 9070 XT goes on sale later today and there are more rumors that stock levels are relatively robust, and certainly exceed what Nvidia has managed to gather with its RTX 5000 GPU.
Overclockers UK (OCUK) is an important retailer in that country and has many RX 9070 XT models in stock, particularly the Sapphire Pulse model.

In fact, Adrian Thompson, who is a senior vice president of global marketing in Sapphire, mocked a photo of the Ocuk warehouse in X, as you can see above, with a ‘Borg Cube’ built from Sapphire GPU Pulse Rx 9070 XX.
And for skeptics in X, as marked by Videcardz, Ocuk really replied to confirm that this is a solid cube of graphics cards (which means that the medium is not hollow, there are boxes until the end), and that it has more than 1,000 units of only this sapphire model.
The retailer points out: “In fact, we have so many stock that we could build an army of Borg cubes almost out of each model we have and all brands, we have several thousand cards in stock that cover Sapphire, PowerColor and Asrock, all of which have more than 1,000 in stock of each brand.”
Later in that thread, Ocuk confirms that it has about 2,000 Sapphire 4 RDNA 4 RDNA 4 units, along with 1,000 PowerColor and Asrock, so they are more than more than 4,000 for a single retailer in the United Kingdom. I guess it is found in RX 9070 XT and Vanilla 9070 models.
The expected scenario is that this will be enough for everyone, and the retailer believes that “the shares will be fine for a few days”, so this should not be a launching card launch card and you.
There are also better news that the MSRP are lower than I expected, and the mentioned sapphire pulse model of RX 9070 XT is initially listed (at the time of writing, a few hours before the launch) to £ 570. RX 9070 begins from £ 525 with the entry level graphics cards also, so this is very promising, but there is a trap.
Ocuk notes that this MSRP price will only be maintained for the first hundreds of units of each board sold, and that: “MSRP has a limited amount of a few hundreds, so prices will jump once they are sold.”
Analysis: abundant stock, but expects the MSRP boards to disappear quickly
In general, this is good news for availability, and the perspective that AMD RX 9070 models are not exhausted immediately. And yes, this could only be a retailer from the United Kingdom, but probably reflects a broader availability to a large extent: rumors so far have indicated that this is the case.
We have heard that RDNA 4 graphics cards will have something like a normal number of launch units of several sources now, so the general image has hopes. Perhaps it is the case that, as suggested here, AMD RX 9070 models will not be exhausted immediately, as certainly Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, and many more apostators will have the opportunity to buy these products.
However, at what price is the question, and it may be asked: how does Ocuk only sell the first hundreds of tables in MSRP? It is because AMD will give retailers a discount on the purchase of an initial amount of GPU, to help effectively guarantee that there are some stock in the official MSRP launch time. Remember, there are no reference RX 9070 graphics cards that are made by AMD, which is guaranteed that they will be in MSRP, so consumers depend completely on third -party prices here. (In short, this is the way in which Team Red guarantees some MSRP actions).
For RX 9070 XT, I expected an initial price of about £ 600 in the United Kingdom, so the fact that the price of £ 570 MSRP will increase after an initial amount of GPU has sold is not really a surprise. It is likely to end in £ 600, or perhaps even a little higher given the use of OCUK of the word ‘jump’ that does not sound like a trivial increase.
As for RTX 5070, which went on sale yesterday, that graphics card extended just when the bleak rumors of limited stocks predicted: it was exhausted in a flash. Even Nvidia itself has delayed its edition of Fundadores, which was lost the date for sale of March 5, and now it will not arrive until later in the month.
Ocuk did not obtain any RTX 5070 action before the launch, and only expected some “small amounts of limited sku” to reach the real day for sale. In general, it seems quite desperate for possible RTX 5070 buyers, although we point out in our review, anyway, this is not a large graphics card.
Of course, that same fact could enliven the sales of AMD RX 9070: we loved RX 9070 XT, as you will have seen, which means that even a relatively solid supply allocation could be exhausted faster than expected.
Anyway, there will be many eyes in this launch of RDNA 4, which is now imminent. If you expect to pocket one of these new graphics cards, see our guide that highlights the best places to buy AMD RX 9070 XT and RX 9070 GPU (which certainly includes overclockers, for those in the United Kingdom).
