- Nvidia launched a new driver ready for RTX 5070 support and DLSS 4 updates for some new and current games
- Users continue to express frustrations regarding the problems of the black screen after the update of the new controller
- It may be ideal to wait for updates until Team Green releases more stable compilations
The tables are among those between the battle between NVIDIA and AMD in the GPU market, with the launch of the RTX 5000 series of the old one comes with a litany of problems, of which AMD takes full advantage of its launch of the Radeon Rx 9000 series. Although the new Green Green Ready Driver promises a solution for some previous problems, it can be a good idea to stay away at the moment.
In a blog released by Nvidia, a new Game Ready Driver (572.70) is available that provides support for its new RTX 5070 GPU, along with the Multifieles DLSS 4 generation support for some games. It also suggests a solution for an anterior black screen problem when trying to start in systems while using Displayport.
This problem seemed to be extended after people installed the 572.60 controller: I can corroborate this, since the start at Windows 11 resulted in the disappearance of the login screen, leaving only the cursor of the mouse. The solution uninstalled the ‘latest quality update’ in Windows 11 recovery mode and returned to the controller to 572.47 for stability.
It is not the first time that this happens: the driver who introduced the cancellation of DLSS 4 for the RTX GPUs (572.16), according to reports, caused blue death screen errors when games, particularly in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 When activating or adjusting the frame generation configuration.
A Hotfix (572.65) was launched to address the main error of 572.60, but the problem remained (according to some Reddit users). Meanwhile, while the notes of the version for the new update 572.70 suggest that the problems of the black screen have been solved, users still inform the same problems, along with stuttering in the games and a black screen error during the driver’s installation. This is not ideal, particularly for those who use the new RTX 5070 of Team Green (the driver has launched specifically to support the GPU), and adds to the list of controversies surrounding the new Blackwell GPUs.

Stir your drivers and stay away for now
Unless you are using an RTX 5070, I suggest you revert your NVIDIA graphics controller as soon as possible: I have been using the 572.47 controller since I found the black screen start problem and I have not looked back.
Team Green is under fire due to several problems with respect to her Blackwell GPU, and I am worried that she does not end soon. The last thing you want to happen is that an unstable future drastically affects your system, and recurring Bsod, game blockages, installation problems and unanswered black screens are not a great sign in my book.
I must take into account that all PC settings are not the same, and it is likely that some do not meet any of these problems (which I hope is the case), but with the consistency of shared frustrations and the similarity between them, I am willing to follow the most stable for now (even if it means losing in any improvement of the game).
I hope Nvidia can re -launch stable controllers that do not even damage their reputation, even if the drivers take into account, drivers can always have one or two problems for several users, but until then, I will keep my clean system of any update of the GPU controller.
