CTD issues a threat alert about a possible terrorist activity in Quetta

The Department of Contracerroism (CTD) has issued an alert of threats in Quetta, warning about possible sabotage activities for prohibited organizations.

According to a communication sent to the Police, the CTD has advised the police to remain vigilant in the light of the threat. The alert establishes that forbidden organizations can be planning an attack in the city.

The CTD reports that two vehicles have entered Quetta and could be pointing to government offices or high -ranking officials. Police have been urged to take additional security measures to protect public and government properties.

Previously, at least three people died and seven other wounds on Wednesday after an explosion in the Khuzdar Nall area, police authorities said.

According to Express News, the explosion occurred near a university in the Khuzdar Nall area, and the authorities confirmed the deaths and victims.

The officials declared that three people died and another seven were injured in the explosion. The bodies and injured have been transferred to the Nall hospital to receive treatment. The authorities are currently working to determine the nature of the explosion.

Baluchistan’s prime minister Sarfraz Bugti firmly condemned the recent incident, expressing a deep pain for the loss of lives. He addressed the authorities to provide the best possible medical care for the injured.

“Terrorism will be eliminated at all costs, and the antipacé elements will not succeed in their dire designs,” he added.
