- Victrola wireless transmission spins, which are once only sounds, obtained a great update
- A free software update adds Bluetooth, UPNP and smarts ready for the raon
- … and given the year that has had, it is a sensible expansion
The headdresses connected to Sonos de Victrola have just obtained an important air update to add wireless connectivity completely not sound, and given the disastrous last 12 months that Sonos has had, it is difficult to see the movement as another thing that is victroly pulling Sonos for that uncomfortable “I will be honest, I think I think it’s time to see others talking.”
Victrola has expanded the wireless transmission capabilities of its carbon victrorofish, Victrola Stream Pearl, Victrola Stream Onyx (which will not be confused with the cheapest ones, which do not support but Bluetooth-Sactx-Toting Hi-Resses Onyx) and the girones of the Victrole Transmission.
What is being added? Well, you could say that Victrola not only wants see Other wireless giants in addition to Sonos, actually goes for a triple (sorry). Together with the support of ‘Works with Sonos, the four transmission tasks now get:
Universal Plug and Play (UPNP): This allows its current seed to automatically jump into a network of products enabled in a similar way through Wi-Fi, to transmit wireless vinyl to audio devices enabled for UPNP, including wireless speakers, A/V receptors, high fidelity transmitters and smart televisions.
Bluetooth output -This (as you probably know) allows you to transmit directly to the best Bluetooth speakers and the best wireless headphones, bringing simple audio without your home.
Ready relay relay -Corriente of vinyl up to 24 bits/48 kHz without loss of the quality of FLAC to any end point of noise.
Victrola tells us that the update is already live in its transmission sapphire model, but it is automatically implemented to all carbon, ónice and pearls of Victrola very soon.
Make new connections
The Victrola Stream range was, as Victrola states in its press release “previously designed exclusively for perfect integration with the Sonos ecosystem”, but does not need to be a genius to see that alignment is much more versatile (and desirable) now, thanks to this free update. We feel that the stream of the current fought to validate its highest price under intense review, but this update can change things.
It is no secret that 2024 was the year that Sonos slipped, so it is fair to say that if a product does not have To honor Sonos only agreement, its creators should certainly seek to diversify and make new friends.
The automatic software update will be implemented, says the company, to all carbon stipes, Onyx, Pearl and Sapphire existing and future, do not require any manual installation. Existing owners can expect to see the update automatically. In the application (where they would normally select a predetermined Sonos speaker), users will now find additional options, including Bluetooth. The application will also provide “simple instructions to change between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth using the knob” according to Victrola.
Complete dissemination: I have a Victrola flow coal, and a sonos Five in which I heard vinyl from 2022 until, Ahem, just after the new updates of the Sonos application began to cause big problems. I moved home in November last year, and both products are currently languishing in storage, for this same reason. Now, however, together with the news that Sonos seems to have set the horrible delay in volume control, I will make a trip to that storage unit, to dig up my sound vinyl system/VICTROLA that was once tied.
I will let you know how that is going, and please, if you also have a Victrola transmission, do not hesitate to tell me in the comments what you think.
