Apple officially delays Siri infused with AI and admits: “It will take more time than we think”

We have all been waiting for Apple to drop the important Siri update that was supposed to arrive at some point within the Life cycle of iOS 18. It goes beyond Siri’s colorful shine around the screen that has been here since the iPhone line 16 was launched in September 2024 and it was promised that the virtual assistant is smarter, more useful and a much better conversationalist.

However, our hopes decreased largely with iOS 18.4 arriving as a developer and public betas without a new Siri. This is especially true after so many reports and rumors insinuated that Apple planned to launch the new Siri, at least the first sample, in spring.

Now, however, Apple has confirmed to the fireball that Siri’s important update is delayed: “It will take more time than we think about delivering these characteristics, and we anticipate implementing them in next year.” These features included Siri factoring in personal context and the ability to see, understand and control several applications on their device.

Apple originally announced the Siri updated with personal return context in the main note wwdc 2024 main (World Developer Conference) On June 10 without an exact written release date, but that would arrive in the coming months.
