If Apple adheres to its usual schedule this year, then we are only six months after the launch of the Apple iPhone 17, and a new practice of practical video shows fictitious units for the iPhone 17, the iPhone 17 Air and the iPhone 17 Pro.
Posted by idevicehelp (through @majinbuoficial), the video takes a good look at the designs of the three phones. Apparently, these fictitious units have been created based on “internal documents” that cover the designs and dimensions of the phones.
We can see the quite dramatic redesign that is rumored that the iPhone 17 will obtain this year, with a complete camera bar at the top of the rear housing. It is an updated aspect that we have now seen in multiple leaks.
The iPhone 17 Air, apparently replacing the iPhone 16 Plus this year, is receiving a similar camera blow on the back, but will be smaller. Meanwhile, the iPhone 17 stays with a more traditional design that is not far from the iPhone 16.

This filtered practical video does not really reveal too much on the phones in addition to the designs, but the thicknesses are expressed as 0.3 inches (0.72 mm) for the iPhone 17, 0.22 inches (5.59 mm) for the air of the iPhone 17 and 0.34 inches (8.64 mm) for the iPhone 17 Pro.
That would make the iPhone 17 the same thickness as the iPhone 16, and the iPhone 17 pro a little thicker than the iPhone 16 Pro, perhaps to fit a battery of greater capacity (or at least that is what we expect.
There are some speculations in the video that the iPhone 17 air will be too thin to fit in the Magsafe magnets, although the wireless load will still be compatible. The iPhone launched more recently, the iPhone 16E, is not compatible with Magsafe.
Without a doubt, there will be much more in terms of leaks and rumors between now and September, when these phones are expected to debut. They will be joined by the iPhone 17 Pro Max, which will basically be a larger iPhone 17 pro.
