LAHORE:
The Minister of National Food Security, Rana Tanveer Hussain, has the government working to guarantee better prices for crops, including wheat to benefit farmers.
Speaking with the media in Muridke on Sunday, the minister said that the government is determined to increase agricultural products to maintain food security. The minister said that farmers will get a better price for their crops and measures are being taken to provide relief.
In response to a question, he said that no opposition movement is being produced after EID. He claimed that PTI leaders are resorting to language and abusive pleas that have “become their political strategy.”
