LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-E-Insaf (PTI) has transferred to the Superior Court of Lahore (LHC) seeking permission to celebrate a public demonstration in mine-e-pakistan on March 22.

The plea presented by the vice president of PTI Punjab, Akmal Khan Bari, who appoints the Chief Secretary of Punjab, the Police General Inspector (ICP), DIG, the deputy commissioner of Lahore and others as respondents, complains that the request to celebrate a power of power in the place has not been decided by the DC of Lahore.

Citing the importance of commemorating the resolution of Lahore, approved on March 23, 1940, the supplication of the PTI leader underlines the fundamental rights of association, and speech together with “dignity and inviolable right to reach people and maintain peaceful manifestations”, and argues that the respondents were destined to allow and facilitate such collection under article 4 of the Constitution.

Regretting political victimization, the petition urges the court to direct the respondents against harassing him or his family and granting permission to hold a meeting in mine-e-pakistan on that date of 8pm to 12 am

The last plea comes in the context of a maximum alert issued in Punjab due to a recent increase in terrorism incidents in the country.

It is pertinent to know that Imran Khan’s founded party has celebrated multiple public demonstrations in recent months with the last organized in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s swab on February 8, to commemorate the one -year anniversary of last year’s general elections that alleges that they dressed through the rigor in which his mandate was.

The PTI, in February, had sought the permission of the Lahore administration to celebrate a demonstration in mine-e-pakistan, but was denied by the latter due to security concerns.

The former ruling party went to celebrate a rally in Swabi, which was marked by low participation in the middle of an internal struggle along with shortage of funds.

Around 5,000 to 6,000 people attended the meeting, according to party experts, because many workers could not bring.

According to the reports, some members and ministers of the Provincial Assembly lacked the necessary financing to provide workers transporting the event.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s prime minister Ali Amin Gandapur, had received financial support requests from some parliamentarians, but according to the sources, this time no additional funds for the event were assigned.

In the past, CM Gandapur used to provide funds to PTI legislators to mobilize workers for the manifestations of the party, sources said.

The PTI, since their negotiations with the government broke and failed to produce any substantive results, warned about their return to the agitation policy and has communicated with other political parties to celebrate anti -government protests after EID ul ul fit.

The party was also part of a conference of the Alliance of the great two -day opposition in Islamabad last month attended by leaders of several political parties, journalists and others.
