Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the relevant ministries to work with the private sector to reassess the effectiveness and dissemination of the awareness campaign for the Ramadan’s help package of 20 billion rupees.

“This help package is not a favor, but a right for deserving people,” said Prime Minister.
Shehbaz Sharif also explained that, for the first time, 5,000 rupee cash transfers are being made to the families deserving transparently, which allows them to buy items according to their own preferences and needs. He added that the initiative will benefit four million families.
The prime minister also requested contributions from the relevant interested parties within a week to explore the possibility of expanding the scope of the help package.
