- Ray-Ban and Meta have created a new design of smart glasses with Coperni
- It has a translucent black frame and reflected lenses
- It is limited to 3,600 units and costs $ 549 / £ 519 / au $ 859
After the teaser last week, the new design of finishing stripes of limited editing has just fallen, and I am more than a bit disappointed with the result. Although at least that means that you should not be too annoying if you miss the training of one of the only 3,600 pairs that are sold.
We had predicted that the new way could be inspired by a new creative director of $ Ap Rocky, but instead, Ray-Ban and Meta have collaborated with Coperni to create a reskin of their walkers who debuted last night (Sunday 9) in the Coperni fashion fashion show.
Like the intelligent limited editing specifications of Meta and Ray-Ban, these glasses have a translucent frame, although they opt for a translucent black instead of the completely clear frame that we saw previously. They also come with gray lenses reflected and present the Coperni logo at the end of each arm.
As for the hardware, they are identical to the other intelligent specifications of Meta and Ray-Ban, so it can trust them as open music speakers for music, a first-person camera for photos and videos, and a portable assistant that can help with tasks such as live translation.
I will not pretend that the smart edition smart glasses are nothing more elegant, but they are much softer than I expected. There is not a new form of unique design or design details that meet my expectations of the first collaboration of intelligent target glasses and Ray-Ban with a third brand.
And this disappointment is aggravated by the cost of $ 549 / £ 519 / au $ 859, which is not only much more expensive than the standard RayFarer RayFarer Smart glasses (at $ 299 / £ 299 / au $ 449), but also much more expensive than the price of $ 429 / £ 429 of their previous dizziness of limited edition (they are not available in Australia).
To make things worse, I would say that these previously cheaper limited editing specifications were a better treatment because they boasted transition lenses, which are ideal for smart glasses, since it is not limited to using them in a climatic condition unlike reflective lenses that the new pair pairs uses the sun.
If Coperni does not agree with me and love me, then you will probably want to act quickly. With only 3,600 available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Austria, Belgium, France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Finland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Australia, it is likely to be sold soon.
