Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday to build the Daanish University of Applied and Emerging Sciences in Islamabad using an amount of £ 190 million that was transferred from the National Crime Agency of the United Kingdom (NCA) to the Pakistan Supreme Court account.
The Prime Minister, while presiding over the meeting of the Steering Committee for the establishment of the Daanish University of Applied and Emerging Sciences, expressed his gratitude to the president of the president of Pakistan for guaranteeing the transfer without problems of the £ 190 million to the Federal Government account.
The National Crime Agency of the United Kingdom (NCA) had returned £ 190 million to Pakistan, which has been transferred from the Supreme Court to the Federal Government account. According to the vision of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, this amount will be used to build a latest generation Daanish University.
Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister stressed that the University of Daanish would be an institution where deserving and talented students will receive education based on high quality research.
He directed the early completion of legal formalities to acquire land in Islamabad for the university.
The prime minister also instructed the rapid completion of the university letter and other legal issues. In addition, he emphasized that Daanish University should develop as a University of Technical and Applied Sciences of International State.
In addition, he directed that university architecture reflects simplicity, with buildings built with red bricks and avoiding unnecessary expenses to minimize costs.
He also instructed to recruit highly qualified teachers and teachers for the University, which would be equipped with state -of -the -art technology and advanced research facilities.
Prime Minister Shehbaz said the University Curriculum must be prepared according to international standards. In addition, he ordered to form a committee for the appointment of the Vice Chancellor and a committee to nominate the Board of Trustees.
During the meeting, there was an informative session in the schools of the University of Daanish and Daanish and it was stressed that the prime minister would be the patron of the University of Daanish, which will be recorded as a company in section 42, with all the necessary procedures that will be completed in a few days.
The University of the University has been selected in the H-16 sector. The University of Daanish will operate under the Daanish Trust to guarantee financial independence and minimal government intervention.
In addition, it was announced that Daanish schools would soon be established in Shigar, Gilgit and Bagh, as well as in Neelum Valley (AJK) and disadvantaged areas of Karachi.
The meeting was attended by Planning Minister Ahsan IQBAL, Minister of Economic Affairs, Ahad Khan Chema, Minister of Vocational Education and Training, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Minister of Information and Broading Attaullah Tarar, and senior government officials.
