The billing of the defense of the Philadelphia Eagles continued on Tuesday when the name of CJ Gardner-Johnson was linked to commercial reports.
The defensive part was changed to the Houston Texans in exchange for the Kenyon Green offensive liner, according to multiple reports. The commercial package will also send a 2026 Quinta Round Draft selection to the Queenrs of the Super Bowl Eagles champions. In addition to Gardner-Johnson, Houston will acquire a future selection of sixth round.

The 2024 season marked the second season of Gardner-Johnson with the Eagles after playing initially with Philadelphia in 2022. He failed after that season and spent the 2023 campaign with the Detroit Lions.
Gardner-Johnson joined the Eagles last year and signed a three-year contract with the team.

It was a key part of the Eagles defense last year and the regular season ended with six interceptions. Gardner-Johnson also registered six interceptions with the Eagles two seasons ago.
Despite the probability of using a different uniform next season, Gardner-Johnson suggested that the Eagles and the city of Philadelphia will continue to occupy a special place in their heart.
“I love you Philadelphia, always champions,” he wrote in X, previously known as Twitter.
Gardner-Johnson’s relationship with the Eagles fans base has sometimes seemed tense. Shortly after he finished his first period with the team, he characterized at least some residents of Philadelphia as “unpleasant.”
“My most favorite thing … It’s people,” said Gardner-Johnson during a live Twitch broadcast in 2023. “They are f-g unpleasant, I f —– G cannot bear the f —–“. “He added that he enjoyed the climate of the city.

Gardner-Johnson managed the initial security tasks for the Eagles in 2024 and registered three cups during the victory of the 40-22 team over the Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix.
The 27 -year -old caused some controversy shortly after the Eagles won the second Vince Lombardi trophy in the history of the franchise when he pointed to Travis Kelce, and effectively to his romantic partner Taylor Swift, in a publication on social networks.
In a vulgar legend of a photo of himself committed to Kelce in the football field, Gardner-Johnson suggested that Kelce “should have stayed” with his ex-girlfriend. He doubled in his posture when he reached the parade of the Victoria of the Super Bowl of the Eagles with a hoodie that said: “Swifties can lick my B —-“.

A Florida restaurant owned by Gardner-Johnson’s mother, from Johnson, was attacked by some fans who were offended by the message shown in the NFL star attire. The Kings grill in Rockledge, Florida, received a burst of Yelp negative reviews.
The fans of singer Taylor Swift, who are often known as “swifties”, seemed to be responsible for the initial flow of the bad reviews of Google and the negative revisions of Yelp for Kings Grill. The unfavorable reviews were later eliminated and Yelp placed an “unusual activity alert” on the restaurant page that “temporarily deactivated the content publication.”
While the Eagles were able to retain supporter Zack Baun, Josh Sweat and Milton Williams agreed agreements with other NFL teams this week. Meanwhile, Darius Slay’s defensive and James Bradberry were released.
Philadelphia seemed to address his role as a backup field marshal by exchanging Kenny Pickett to the Cleveland Browns in exchange for a Draft selection of Fifth Round and Dorian Thompson-Robinson Draft.
