- LG has announced prices for OLED LG C5 models
- The launch prices are exactly the same as LG C4 last year
- Early orders are available through LG
LG has revealed prices for select LG C5 models, the average range OLED in its 2025 TV line, and prices are stable compared to last year.
The successor of the LG C4, one of the best televisions released in 2024, the Select LG C5 models are available to preordinate directly from LG. The available models are 42, 55, 65 and 77 inches and the price of each is as follows:
- LG 42 inches C5 OLED: £ 1,399.99
- LG 55 inches C5 OLED: £ 1,900
- LG 65 inches C5 OLED: £ 2,699.99
- LG 77 inches C5 OLED: £ 3,799.99
LG seems to have prioritized the most popular sizes in the range, with early orders and prices for the 48 and 83 inches yet for not appearing.
We have also seen a confirmed launch date, with delivery dates on the LG website labeled as March 31. You can pre-order the LG C5 in the links below, where there is a promotion in each size available with a free sound bar (sound bar models vary according to television size):
The latest features of LG C5 include a new Alpha 9 GEN 8 processor, which presents a brightness reinforcement technology, and webos 25, the last iteration of the SMART TV platform of LG. With Webos 25, a large number of new characteristics of AI come, including the janitor of AI (Custom Content Recommendations), Voice ID and an Improved Chatbot.
There is also the new AI sound assistant, which allows users to create their own personal sound mode, and for what we have seen from it in action, it is a fascinating tool that could really be useful for some spectators.
The correct price
Every year, when new televisions are announced, we anticipate that the latest models will reflect an increase in £ 1-200 prices compared to their predecessors, mainly due to inflation or addition of a new technology. But after the prices of European LG Oled and the prices of the US LG OLED, which showed stable or fallen prices for the C5, we were recently revealed, we continue with the hope that the same would be true for the United Kingdom. For the announced models, that is more or less the case, and this was a good decision of LG.
The OLED of the LG C series are often found among the most popular televisions every year, with their versatility of Jack-of-Lall-Trades, which makes them excellent for movies. They are also among the best playgrounds and come in a wide range of sizes, often for the most competitive price compared to rival sets.
Looking at the LG C5 on paper, its specifications are not so different from the C4, apart from the characteristics mentioned above. Unfortunately, there is no new OLED panel of four batteries, which can be found in the LG G5, or even in the Micro Lens Array (MLA) panel used in the G4 last year this time. So, naturally, we would expect that there is no commitment to the price, and fortunately, that is what happened.
We are currently testing the LG C5, so wait a complete review soon.
