Speaking to journalists during the team’s spring training program on Monday, Rodriguez was asked about his position on social networks and if he has implemented a prohibition for his players.

“They will be in that, so I’m not prohibiting them. I’m just prohibiting them to dance,” he said. “It’s like, look, we try to have a hard advantage or whatever, and you are there in your socks dancing in Tiktok.
“It is not the image of our program that I want,” he continued.
Rodríguez said that when he spoke with the team, he expressed the importance of a group mentality, something that believes that social networks do not prioritize.

Rodríguez seemed indifferent that his players wanted to “look at his Tiktok” long after their football races ended.
“I hope our approach may be to win football games. How about winning the football game and not worrying about winning the Tiktok?”

The Social Network Platform has grown in popularity with university athletes over the years, many of which have published dance videos.
But the trend will stop with Rodríguez, 61, who returns for his second period as a coach of Mountaineers almost two decades after he left the program for the first time.
