Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has sought suggestions from the business community for system reforms to improve government tax revenues, The news

In a meeting with presidents of several Chambers of Commerce, the prime minister said that achieving economic stability was the first step and that the national development trip had begun.

During the meeting, the Premier ordered all relevant ministries and secretaries to formulate a political action plan based on the suggestions of the Chambers of Commerce after holding consultations with them.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also pointed out that everyone should work together for the development of the economy, adding that the resolution of the business community was a priority and the government would support them completely.

“The Government is taking all possible measures to facilitate the business community. Through the digitalization of the Federal Income Office (FBR) and other reforms, the business community is provided. The facilities authorization system has significantly reduced the times of container dispatch in the ports,” the press release cited the prime minister.

Meanwhile, the delegations praised the government’s economic stability measures and expressed their gratitude for their inclusion in the advisory process, said Prime Minister’s office media wing in a press release.

The participants of the meeting said that for the first time, the government was demonstrating seriousness when addressing the problems of the business community. The inclusion of the business community in the advisory process, especially in budget discussions, was a positive step for which they were grateful to the prime minister, they said.
