Queen Camilla has suffered silently with a strong emotional burden while supporting King Charles after her cancer diagnosis.
According to a real assistant, Queen Consort assumed more public tasks when Charles fought against an unrelated form of cancer.
Calling him “exhausting”, the source said it would have been difficult even for someone much younger.
“It was exhausting,” the source told the publication. “It would have been exhausting for a woman half of her age.”
The source continued so that, even if it was a difficult time, people had the opportunity to see more of the work of Camilla.
“I think that if one tries to see a benefit of that period, he really gave an opportunity for the media and the world, see part of the work he had always been doing with greater interest and clarity,” the source shared.
They remembered Camilla to London’s cancer in January last year a week before Buckingham Palace announced Charles cancer.
“He had to undertake public duties knowing that the king had been diagnosed with cancer, including a visit to a Maggie center in London, and yet not to be able to show the slightest flickering of vulnerability when he was there knowing what he knew in private,” they added.
