In the waiting time that followed Triple by Curry, the Warriors played a video message from Andris Biedrins, an old Warriors center that helped in the first triple of Curry’s race.

“I would call it an emotional moment in the bank when I saw (Biedrins). They didn’t tell me that they found him and received a video message from him. That was my veterinarian when my rookie year was here,” Curry said after the game.

“I would love to have questioned our team in the bank and see if someone knew who it was, because that was a long time ago … really great to think how far I have arrived from the first to four thousand, which is crazy.”

Curry said he could feel the energy in the building in advance of witnessing the story.

“I could feel the energy and buzz since the beginning of the game after making my first three, even the second one that I shot and lost, it was an adrenaline, and they were with me at every moment of the game tonight,” Curry said.

“When that second entered, I knew there was a lot of game, so I tried not to get too much advance. But it was a special moment to feel that energy and allow them to enjoy that milestone and achieve me.”

The two-time MVP had 11 points and five assists, going 2-6 of the range of 3 points in the victory, while Draymond Green scored the best 23 points of the season to lead the team.
