HP has been shaking things in its amplify 2025 event, presenting new laptops of AI and changing brands in an attempt to facilitate them to understand for possible buyers. The company offers “I” or “A” versions of its AI laptops, so you can say at a glance if a device has an Intel or AMD processor.
However, these are not the only players in the city, and HP knows. If it is a highly mobile professional who needs to stay constantly connected and wants to download tasks that require a lot of time for AI, HP has launched the elitebook 6 g1 series laptop, which includes a 14 -inch model with a 40–60 tops NPU that is “designed for knowledge creators to make more.”
There are two elitebook 6 Next Gen AI models to choose from: one with an AMD (G1A) processor and one with a Qualcomm (G1Q) processor, both in a 14 -inch size. While Intel is offered in the standard version of AI (less than 40 NPU tops), and in the high -end elitebook models of high -end, it is not offered at all in the elitebook 6 Next Gen AI line.
Snapdragons choice
The 14 -inch ELITERBOEW PC of 14 inches Next Gen AI is fed by a Snapdragon X, X Plus or X 45 tops tops processor. Memory settings rise to 64GB LPDDR5X, with storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB PCIE NVME M.2 SSD. The 14 -inch screen comes in multiple options, including Wuxga (1920 x 1200) and WQXGA (2560 x 1600).
Other notable features include a FHD camera, with optional 5MP+IR or AII cameras. The audio is delivered through dual stereo speakers by Poly Studio and dual microphones with the reduction of AI noise.
The laptop also includes a spill -resistant keyboard (optionally backlit with hard -tames) and a Microsoft Precision touch panel. The connectivity options include two type C USB4 ports, two USB-A, HDMI 2.1, audio connector, RJ45 and an optional SIM nano. The wireless support includes Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E with Bluetooth 5.4 or 5.3, along with optional 5G.
The battery options are 48 or 56Wh. The laptop weighs about 1.45 kg and comes in any color you want, whenever it is silver. The Bundled software includes MyHP, HP AI Companion, Microsoft Copilot, Poly Camera Pro and more.
It is not yet known about prices or availability for the only Qualcomm Ai AI portable computer.
