Islamabad:
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will carry out an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) from March 19 to 22, which aims to strengthen bilateral ties, improve economic cooperation and promote investment between the two countries.
The delegation that accompanies the Prime Minister will include the Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, key federal ministers and senior officials, said a spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Tuesday in a statement.
During the visit, the prime minister is scheduled to meet with the Saudi heir prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman.
Leaders will discuss and deliberate on ways of promoting trade, improving association in key sectors and facilitating greater economic collaboration.
“Mutual matters of interest and concern, including global and regional developments, particularly the situation of Gaza, the evolutionary dynamics of the Middle East, as well as the problems related to the Muslim UMMAH, will appear on the top of the agenda,” he added.
The visit of the Prime Minister underlines the deep historical relations between Pakistan and Ksa and will pave the way for greater mutual understanding, better cooperation in trade, investment and greater diplomatic coordination in bilateral, regional and global matters.
