- Windows 11 could get a function to better inform you about how fast your PC is
- It is still hidden in the tests, but you have just discovered a new frequent question to help the least technology experts.
- As this is still in the early stages, and it is not yet an official characteristic, we must moderate our emotion a bit
Microsoft is developing a function in Windows 11 that provides easy information to understand in the specification of its PC and how powerful is the hardware within the device.
Neowin noticed that a regular taxpayer to the Windows rumors scene in X, Phantomofearth discovered some new work on this capacity that remains hidden under the Windows 11 hood.

Phantomofearth found that the new section of frequent questions in the previous view build 26120.3576 and 22635.5090, and enabled functionality using a Windows configuration utility (Vivetool).
You can remember that this feature was first discovered at the bottom of Windows 11 in early 2025, when the same filter issued images of some ‘cards’ in the configuration application, which are compact information panels that show the specifications of the PC so that they are easy to see.
These panels (in System> onWithin the configuration) show basic specifications such as the CPU, the graphics card and the amount of memory and storage. In addition to that, as we point out at that time, Windows 10 users already had this live function, in the tests, and came with a section of frequent questions that were contributed.
Now that frequent questions have reached Windows 11, as mentioned, and provides a variety of questions and answers about elements of the PC Host specification.
The Nifty bit is that the FAQ adapts based on the PC that Windows 11 executes. So, for example, if it does not have a discreet GPU, and only uses the integrated graphics provided by its processor, Microsoft will provide information about what that means for its perspectives of executing certain software or games.
Or if you have a low amount of RAM of the system, you will receive details on how that thinner allocation could affect the execution of applications on your PC.
Analysis: configuring very well (although at a very early stage)
It is good to see that this frequently asked questions section reaches Windows 11, although it was expected to do so, since it was already present in Windows 10 (tests). (However, I am not sure why Microsoft is developing this for Windows 10, since the operating system is dragging its coil in a short time, something that Microsoft now remembers us regularly in creative forms, we say).
We must still remember that at least for Windows 11, this is a hidden feature and is not yet enabled in the tests, so there is no guarantee that it reaches the finished version of the operating system (the same is true for Windows 10, for the case).
However, I think it is very likely to push Windows 11, since this will be a useful feature for novice reports that are not sure about the capabilities of their PC. The personalized nature of the new frequent questions is particularly useful, so it is guaranteed that the information provided will be relevant to the user.
Even so, the answers to the questions raised are still a bit generic, but I can see that AI are developed in the future. This could be a good use of Copilot to make the wizard more useful for the least technology experts.
As I have discussed in the past, this new approach looks far superior to the experience index in Windows, which computer veterans can remember since the past. The Wei, as it was known, was introduced with Windows Vista and described the performance of its PC in a lot of categories, but was convoluted and confusing, instead of being useful.
It seems that Microsoft will work much better with this new version of the concept, but the test, as always, will be to test the Buddine, and this feature is still in the stage of mixing ingredients at this time.
