After our first glimpses in CES in January and the prices and availability ads in the United States and the United Kingdom, LG has finally taken the wraps of its 2025 Australian television line, with Nanocell, QNed and, of course, the OLED screens competing for their attention. And, with the prices that begin in AU $ 749 and rise to an amazing AU $ 39,999 for the gigantic OLED M5 of 97 inches, there really is a screen for each Australian home.
Oled continues to shine
Naturally, much of the focus is on LG OLED TV, which this year includes B5, C5 and G5, along with the aforementioned M5 Oled wireless TV. For the true High Rollers, LG has also confirmed that its transparent follow -up OLED T TV will reach the Australian coasts in the second half of 2025.
The good news for LG Oled fans? The launch prices have remained the same as the previous generation. The news even better? The G5 oled flagship offers notable image quality improvements on the five -star G4, thanks in large part to a new OLED ‘Four Stack’ panel. My colleagues have already written about the improvements that this panel makes, but only to add my two cents, I could see the G5 side by side with the G4 OLED, which I have at home, and the differences were clear to see.
The colors were much more natural in the G5 and apparently lacked so much refinement when you could see the same content on both screens. It is also much brighter, which helps to facilitate an even greater contrast, particularly when you see the HDR content.
I thought that G4 Oled was quite perfect, but the G5 shows that this is no longer the case.
It is also worth noting that all OLED G5 sizes, except the 97 -inch variant, will be sent with thin wall support and a pedestal support included.
As for the C5 OLED LG, a brilliant five -star review has already been won and demonstrates once again that it is one of the best televisions for most people.

Out with the old man, inside with the … old man
Finally, LG has also confirmed that its UHD television range of previous entry level has gone and instead is the return of the Nanocell brand, which offers a new series of screens that use nanoparticles to improve color and bright reproduction. With sizes ranging from 43 to 86 inches, it means that anyone with a slightly more tight budget can benefit from a well -made screen.
