The role of King Charles as a peacemaker could make great progress with the United States, says an expert.
His Majestad, who has invited Donald Trump to a second state visit to the United Kingdom, is helping Great Britain forge close relationships with the United States.
According to the Daily Mail newspaper, Richard Eden, His Majesty is playing a vital role in world peace.
He said: “This is being discussed at the highest levels. It would be a wonderful movement that would symbolize the close relationship of Great Britain with the United States.
“Donald Trump loves Great Britain and has great respect for the royal family, so we believe he would see the benefits of this.
“The associated membership could, hopefully, be followed by complete membership, which makes Commonwealth even more important as a global organization.”
The source added: “Commonwealth is also a great forum to solve differences between nations, and the king has shown that it is a natural peacemaker.”
