Pakistan’s military parade was held in Aiwan-E-Sadr in Islamabad on Sunday, commemorating the historical 1940 lathy resolution.

The ceremony began with the national anthem, followed by an exhibition of military skill and national unity.

President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the heads of the Armed Forces and other dignitaries attended the event.

Different Sherdil, Mirage, F-16, JF-17 Thunder and J-10C Aircraft formations showed an impressive flypast, flying through the sky with remarkable precision and agility.

Zardari warned against the external threats of India and militant groups, ensuring that the Armed Forces and the Nation join to frustrate any disastrous design.

He emphasized the need to strengthen national defense, boost economic sectors and create employment opportunities for young people, who called the greatest asset in the nation.

He also reiterated the unwavering support of Pakistan for the people of Kashmir and Palestine, urging the international community to guarantee their right to self -determination.

Previously, President Asif Ali Zardari reviewed the contingents of the Armed Forces, which were in the Immaculate Formation for the Pakistan Day Parade.

He was presented a presidential greeting such as the national anthem he played, marking the ceremonial procedures.

The president arrived at the scene in a traditional presidential car, escorted by his bodyguards on horseback, which adds to the greatness of the occasion.

The event also had a military band that interprets patriotic melodies, further improving the spirit of pride and national celebration.
