The Dallas Cowboys field marshal, Dak Prescott, was caught in a wild trade rumor on Wednesday with weeks for the NFL draft.
Cleveland headquarters based in Cleveland, Bruce Drennan, put the rumor in the atmosphere when he said in his program that the Cleveland Browns were negotiating an exchange for the veteran field marshal.

“Prepare for this,” he said in his program. “I obtained a very good source within the organization of the Browns, a couple. I heard, from our last show, that part of the reason why Myles Garrett was so willing to sign this extension, yes, money, money, money, the Browns are negotiating while we talk to the Dallas Cowboys for an exchange of Dak Prescott.”
Drennan added that the corner of the Browns, Greg Newsome II, and the draft selections would be part of the agreement.
Social networks quickly built about the deal, but money did not seem to add on the surface.

Browns left just over $ 18 million in capitalization space by 2025, according to Over the Cap.
The blow of the Prescott cover for the 2025 season is $ 52.9 million this season alone, according to Spotrac. It will have a cap of $ 76.5 million in 2026 and around $ 70 million in 2027. Unless the cowboys were willing to eat part of that money after they agreed an extension of four years and $ 240 million with it last season, the exchange cannot match any of the teams.
In addition, Prescott is one of the few players who has a complete clause without trade.
Yahoo Sports later reported that there was no trade in the works and that there have been no commercial conversations about Prescott.

The Browns seem scheduled to try to go with Deshaun Watson as the titular field marshal for the 2025 season. Cleveland has the number 2 selection in the Draft and could find the opportunity to select CAM WARD or SHEDEUR SANDERS if the team really wanted a QB.
