Trump said the Eagles “deserve” being in the White House as champions: they prevented Kansas City Chiefs from becoming the first team to succeed in the history of the Super Bowl with a 40-22 beating.
Trump rescinded his invitation for the Super Bowl Lii team in 2018 after some players refused to visit the White House due to Trump’s criticism to those who knelt or lifted their fists during the national anthem in protest of racial injustice and police brutality.
