The recognized global passport classification organization, Nomad Capitalist, has published its list of the most powerful passports in the world.

According to the report, Ireland has assured first place, claiming the country’s title with the most powerful passport in the world.

This annual classification takes into account not only travel facilities without visa, but also five key factors: freedom of travel without visa or visa upon arrival, fiscal policies for citizens, allocation of double citizenship, personal and social freedoms.

Based on its balanced performance in all these factors, Ireland obtained a total of 109 points, ensuring the higher position. Irish citizens can travel to 176 countries without a visa.

Greece and Switzerland jointly secured the second place with 108 points, while Portugal was third. Luxembourg ranked fourth, and Finland and Norway shared the fifth place.

The EAU, New Zealand and Iceland achieved the tenth position in the ranking. Japan and Singapore were delayed slightly, largely due to restrictions on double citizenship and the highest fiscal policies in these countries.

Meanwhile, Pakistan has held the 195th position on the list, with one of the weakest passports worldwide, in fifth place from the bottom.
