The 28 -year -old guard was acquired by the Phoenix Suns fever in February as part of an exchange of four teams that included the additions of Jaelyn Brown of the Dallas Wings and Selection No. 19 in the 2025 WNBA Draft.

“I am excited. I think this is a new era for me,” Cunningham told Pak Gazette Digital in a recent interview. “I have to learn a lot, learn to become a professional. And now I can go to Indiana to play with some of the best players in the world at this time.”
On the list there is a new teammate Caitlin Clark, who took his professional career by assault.
“We have spoken a lot in recent months since they exchanged to me and she is a good human,” Cunningham said about Clark. “I think she has humor for her, she has ingenuity for her. Everyone with whom I talked said she is a great teammate. He just wants to win, right?”

Cunningham told Pak Gazette Digital that he believes that Indiana’s “style of play” is something he thrives. He said he believes that if the chemistry on the court is there, this team has a good opportunity to win a championship.
“I am excited by [Clarkâs] Competitiveness I am excited by everything she brings to the table. But again, I’m excited by everyone, right? You have Kelsey Mitchell, who has also been veterinarian, who has been there for years, who is also a player of a player. And so, for me, only to be part of something for the first time, a new team for the first time in six years, I think it is a new wind. It is what I needed. It is motivated again, my energy is forwarded. And again, as at the end of the day, I just want to win. I want championships and I think this is the appropriate team for it. ”

“It’s huge. And I think, you know, talent and struggle, competitiveness has always been there.
