The European rugby party is delayed when the paratrooper hangs from the ceiling


Fans of a match of the European Rugby Champions Cup in France saw how a paratrooper needed to be rescued while getting stuck at the top of the stadium roof on Sunday.

A video showed the rescue workers in Toulouse running to help the pendant paratrooper and the party was delayed.

The man, who, according to the reports, was a French soldier, descended quickly when the right side of his parachute was stuck on the roof. He was hanging about 50 feet on the crowd that came to see Toulouse assume the sales sharks.

Firefighters needed a long ladder to reach the paratrooper and rescue him safely. The man seemed unharmed when he was helped. The crowd began to encourage when it came to security.

Firefighters also received great joy once they could lower the parachute.

The delay lasted about 40 minutes.

“After the incident in Le Stadium of Toulouse, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to all those involved in the stadium, both clubs and emergency services to safely return the paratrooper to the ground,” said European professional rugby president, Dominic McKay, in a statement on social networks.

Toulouse ended up winning the 38-15 game.
