After the Caitlin Clark record rookie campaign in the WNBA, a basketball legend is to possess his thoughts that things would have been difficult for Iowa’s product.
Diana Tauurasi, who recently announced her withdrawal from the WNBA after 20 illustrious seasons, was in her “Bird & Tauurasi show” with his fellow star of the WNBA Sue Bird, where he possessed to say that “reality is coming” when referring to Clark entering the league.
With Clark next to them, Tauurasi turned the script.

“Thank you, unfortunately, reality is coming to me now,” Taurasi said after Clark congratulated her for retirement.
It was about a year ago when Taurai said those infamous words, basically saying that Clark will have to get used to many great basketball players now after his record career with the Hawkeyes.

Clark averaged 19.2 points, 8.4 assists, 5.7 rebounds and 1.3 robberies for play on his way to win the Kia Novato award of the year. The first All-Wnba team also ended, since its 337 assists were the most in a single season of the WNBA.
But Tauurai’s career is what Clark is chasing now, since she is considered the best WNBA player of all time. Taurasi made 11 star teams during his career, while winning three league titles with Phoenix Mercury.
Clark certainly had a beginning of his own career, but he is looking to make some championship races in the future, and fever has reinforced his list with the hope of doing so.

The fever begins its 2025 WNBA season on May 17 against Angel Reese and the sky of Chicago.
