The New York Yankees gardener, Cody Bellinger, did not start in the team of the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday due to food poisoning.
Bellinger, 29, ate some chicken wings last night and vomited all night, according to the Yankees manager Aaron Boone. From now on, Boone said that no one else in the team is sick.
“Hopefully (it feels) a little better now, and we will see if we can start it, to do it in some way available as the game progresses,” said Boone through the New York Post.

With Bellinger out of the lineup on Tuesday, three of the last five games have been lost. The gardener lost two games against Pittsburgh’s pirates due to a strong setback.
He returned to the alignment on Sunday and played in the 6-2 defeat of the Yankees against Los Tigres on Monday.
The Yankees acquired Bellinger in an exchange with the Chicago puppies this low season to help replace Juan Soto, after Soto departed in the Free Agency for the New York Mets.

In eight games this season, Bellinger has an average of .233 with a home run and six ranges driven while playing in the left garden, the central garden and the right garden.
The central gardener Trent Grisham assumed Bellinger’s place in the initial lineup on Tuesday. Grisham has had a squamous start this season, hitting .423 with three home runs and nine races promoted in nine games.
The Yankees entered Tuesday against the Tigers with a 6-4 record, and are at the top of the East Health League.
