The United Arab Emirates (EAU) will broadcast five-year visas to 100,000 Pakistani citizens, the Eau ambassador, Hamad Obaid Al-Zaabi, announced Wednesday during a meeting with Sindh Kamran Tessori governor, said Express News.
The ambassador assured that the applicants would receive a welcome from “red carpet” and a respectful treatment in visa centers.
“We will honor the applicants and provide full cooperation in the Visa center,” said Ambassador Al-Zaabi, adding that the EAU hope to strengthen pakistan ties through this initiative.
Early in the day, Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori was warmly received at the Eau consulate in Karachi. He toured the Visas Center, where the ambassador reported it on the facilities and operations.
In statements to the media after the visit, Governor Sindh expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown by the Eau officials. “I was welcome on a red carpet, a gesture of his affection,” he said.
He also thanked the EAU Government for the services and support provided in the Consulate Visas Center and pointed out the active interest of the EAU in the initiative of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
A day earlier, the EAA Ambassador Hamad Obaid al Zaabi, during a meeting with Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori announced that Pakistani citizens can now request five -year visas from the United Arab Emirates.
The announcement continues to confirm the EAU authorities that there is no prohibition of visa for Pakistani citizens.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the new five -year visa policy of the EAU requires that the applicants present return tickets, hotels reserves, proof of property if applicable and an Aed3,000 deposit.
