Google Cloud has presented a new unified security platform designed to get stress of maintaining its business safe from the latest threats.
The company has presented the unified security of Google, affectionately known as Gus, in its Google Cloud Next 25 event in Las Vegas, promising a great step forward in the detection and mitigation of threats.
As expected, Google Unified Security will be equipped with the latest tools and services of the company to maximize the options available for customers.
Unified Google Security
The launch of Google Unified Security occurs when companies around the world face what the company calls a “new era of security and privacy.”
The company says that as a business grows, its infrastructure inevitably becomes more complex, expanding the possible attack surface and increasing the need for a unified security platform, since separate and disconnected security tools can leave fragmented data, as well as opening companies to attack.
Customers can use Google Unified Security to access a single interface for all their data, offering an improvement in visibility, detection and response capabilities.
The company promises that the last intelligence findings of Google threats will be available to users, and Gemini, of course, will also be present to offer advice and guidance.
Users can access telemetry and other Chrome Enterprise data to ensure that they remain safe from possible threats, which can be monitored from the security command center.
Employees can also benefit from the new Phishing protections in Chrome Enterprise Premium, with employers capable of adding their own brand and corporate assets to boost identification.
Google’s Security Operations Platform is also obtaining an impulse thanks to the new data portfolio management capabilities, helping users to administer the scale and reduce costs, while the new Mandiant threat defense service offers detection capabilities and in -depth response to all the latest threats.
Google Unified Security is now being implemented.
